Buellton’s New Farmers Market Brings the Central Coast to Town

In March we welcome a new farmers market to the Santa Barbara County roster in the lovely town of Buellton!
Brenda Browning, who resides in Lompoc, is the person behind the market. You may have met her at last year’s experimental pop-up market in Los Alamos. Browning brings years of experience managing markets with her daughter from Coastal Pacific Farmers Markets in Southern California, including Northridge, Glendale, Riverside, Simi Valley and Los Angeles.
Setting up at the Avenue of Flags just outside the City of Commerce and the Visitors Center, this farmers market will have over 30 vendor stalls, ranging from seafood like seasonal lobster, crab and fish from Good Land Seafood; to beef, chicken and lamb from Diamond Black; a variety of eggs, including duck and quail; specialty lavender products; coffee from Fika Coffee; honey; and fresh sourdough breads from Urban Homesteadings, plus other baked goods and jams.
Bringing a market back to Buellton makes it easier for residents to access locally grown, locally made fresh produce and products from the Central Coast. Grab your favorite market basket and join in!
When: Mondays, 2–6pm, March–October
Where: Avenue of Flags, outside the Buellton Visitors Bureau and Chamber of Commerce, Buellton
