MANDARIN SYRUP

  • 1 part mandarin juice, freshly squeezed and strained
  • 1 part organic white sugar

Instructions

MANDARIN SYRUP

  1. Emulsify or shake vigorously to ensure all the sugar is incorporated into the syrup. Refrigerate, and the syrup should last a week.
  1. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and shake vigorously for 8–12 seconds. Strain into a double Old Fashioned glass full of ice. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg—it must be freshly grated, or omit it—and a mint sprig.
