Kale Chips

A while back when I was interviewed by Randy White of Your California Show, I described my recipe for kale chips. It’s one of my favorite things to do with kale. You can eat them straight out of the oven dumped into a big bowl like chips or try them as a topping for a salad or pasta. Kale is available year round at the farmers market, through CSAs and at grocery stores that carry local produce. It’s usually pretty inexpensive, it’s very nutritious and it’s easy to cook with. When you’re tired of making kale chips (which might not be for a very long time), try it sauteed with garlic or in soups.
