Edible Travel: The Santa Barbara Road Trip

Edible Radio broadcasts Edible stories from local communities. Santa Barbara is next up on the Edible Travel Road Trip series, listen to the podcast here. If  you’ve ever visited California, let’s hope Santa Barbara was on your list of places you stopped. Situated on the coast of California between the Santa Ynez Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, Santa Barbara has a Mediterranean climate. With its microclimates and rich soil, the Santa Barbara region is also home to more than 50 grape varietals, more than 180 wineries, and more than 1000 farms! Eating great, locally produced food and wine is easier here than it is almost anywhere else in the country, making it a coveted stop on our Edible Road Trip.
